This is my 7th and largest painting of my friend Krystal. Wizard is one of our favorite pinball machine’s I own that we played together a lot. As a tribute, I put her birthday in the score on the backglass. The artwork of the machine is Dave Christenson’s masterpiece. I first used to play this machine when I was a kid. This is one of my almost all exclusively airbrushed paintings. I also had separate photos of the backglass and playfield as reference. I wanted to use this scale and perspective to allow the viewer to feel like they are engaged in playing pinball with her.
