Every day we interact with the people in our communities…on the streets, at work, at the dinner table, etc. We acknowledge each other’s presence, yet there remains an indescribable barrier between us. The exception to this is when we stop and really look into the eyes of another and allow them to look back into ours. In this portrait of Debbie, the barrier breaks down as she gazes at the viewer instigating a shared experience.
